ELLE was my first real job, there I had the opportunity to work hard and learned a lot. I started there in mid 2010 as an intern, working part time together with my graduation course.
In the beginning I didn't had lot of responsibilities, but after two month they started giving me big and important articles to design. Was a great experience.
When I graduate I was hired as a junior designer and after one year I became a middleweight designer.
At ELLE we were quite free to create, our creative director, Clayton Carneiro, always pushed us to do something different and better from the last issue.
Our creative process was first talk with the editors to understand what the article is about, then we could start the photos and inspiration research.
